DuabaNti is the trading name of DUABANTI FOUNDATION LBG, a nonprofit company limited by guarantee registered in Ghana. We deliver free, practical digital education to young people and underserved communities — and we publish exactly who we are, what we run, and how we are doing.

Our Mission

DuabaNti Foundation exists to widen access to practical digital education for young people and underserved communities in Ghana. We design and deliver free programmes — Introduction to Modern AI Tools, Introduction to JavaScript for SHS Students, Youth Career Development Workshops, the Community Digital Literacy Program, the Girls in Tech Initiative, and the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Lab — that take a learner from first exposure, through practical skills, into applying those skills and earning from them.

We serve senior high school and university students, recent school leavers, young women entering technology, adults and elders who have been left behind by digitisation, and community groups across Accra and the wider Greater Accra region. Everything we run is free at the point of delivery. There are no fees, no application costs, and no requirement to own a device to take part in our community sessions.

How we do it is deliberately structured rather than ad hoc. Learners move along a four-stage pathway — exposure, skills, application, then income and community impact. A learner might meet us at a free seminar such as “Stop Consuming. Start Building.”, continue into the Introduction to JavaScript for SHS Students bootcamp, apply what they learned in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Lab, and leave with a portfolio, a mentor, and a route to earning.

Why We Exist

Meet Kwame. He Represents Thousands Just Like Him.

Kwame is a composite of the young people we are designing DuabaNti for. His story is not yet written — but yours can help write it.

Before

Kwame is 19, lives in Kumasi, and recently finished SHS. He has no job, no income, and no clear career path. He wants to work in tech but has no way in — no training, no connections, no money for courses.

During

Kwame joins DuabaNti's first free cohort. In 4 weeks he builds his first web project, learns how AI tools can accelerate his work, and connects with a mentor who has worked at a Ghanaian startup.

After

Kwame lands a ₵600/month freelance contract. He teaches what he learned to 3 friends. He applies for an internship. He has a plan — and the skills to execute it.

Our Story

How DuabaNti Started

DuabaNti grew out of DuabaLabs, an African technology company building software products from Accra. Over years of hiring and training, one pattern kept repeating: the talent was never the constraint. Bright, motivated young people would apply for roles with real aptitude but no practical exposure — no first project, no mentor, no idea that the work was even available to them.

Paid courses were not the answer. The learners who most needed the training were exactly the ones who could not pay for it. So the decision was to run it as a nonprofit: free at the point of delivery, funded by donations and by DuabaLabs itself, and accountable in public for what it achieves.

On 6 November 2025, DUABANTI FOUNDATION LBG was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee with the Office of the Registrar of Companies, Republic of Ghana, under Charity ID CG077101125. A company limited by guarantee has no shareholders and distributes no profit — every cedi received is applied to the organization's stated purposes.

We ran our first public event, “Stop Consuming. Start Building.”, on 25 May 2026. Twenty learners attended, worked hands-on with AI and automation tools, and built their first workflows. That cohort became the founding members of our Discord community, which is still active and still free to join.

We are early. We say so plainly rather than dressing up our launch targets as history. Our impact page shows real numbers against our 2026 goals, including the ones we have not reached yet.
